We build the parts of a backyard that have to last — fences, walls, stairs, pathways and ponds — and we look after the rest.

I'm Mo. Twenty years in, and I still run every job myself with a small crew — so the person who quotes your yard is the one building it.

Fences, retaining walls, stairs, pathways, ponds, and the lawn and planting that tie them together. One crew, one number to call. Nothing gets subbed out, so there's nobody to point at but me.

The name came from Australia. I landscaped there on a working holiday visa, spent every day in somebody's backyard, and Backyard Builders stuck. Back home it was a year out at La Casa learning paver driveways, then site managing for a fence company here in the valley. Between them I ended up with every trade a backyard needs.
